About our owner John Dittmore
After retiring as a police officer in 2008 John began working in the Insurance industry as a Fraud Investigator for Traveler's and Zurich Insurance companies. In 2019 he opted to work in the sales side of insurance and obtained his Florida Insurance Agent License. John is currently active in his community both as his Homeowners Association President and as an elected official with the City of West Melbourne's Council. In 2020 he was unanimously appointed by his peers to serve two consecutive terms as the City's Deputy Mayor. John is a US Navy Veteran and served during the Beirut conflict 1983-84

CSR Shawn Overdorf
Shawn holds a Florida 440 Insurance license and works as our Customer Service Representative. He is a graduate of the University of Akron and holds a bachelor's degree in Education and an associate degree in Criminal Justice. Shawn is a retired Police Officer after serving for 23 years, with 11 years as a School Resource Officer. Shawn also worked for the School District as an Investigator after retiring from the Police Department. Shawn is a US Army Combat Veteran and served in the Gulf War.
